Spending My Birthday In Prison.
February 6, 2008…Or make that with prison instead of in prison; and Prison Break instead of just ordinary word prison.
Because laptops were being used by my parents last night, I wasn’t able to write blogs or simply check my sites. (I am used to going online before I go to bed.) I was left with not so much to do for the rest of the night. Well, could have read a book, or watched movies, but surprisingly, I felt no urge in doing either. Then I remembered that Papa bought a DVD of Prison Break season 1, which anyone in the house hardly paid attention to within its three-week stay inside our shelf. I thought maybe I could make use of a "manly" series to doze me off… earlier, this time.
But boy was I wrong! I fell so into Prison Break, right away, within the first few seconds of its running. It even made me not want to sleep at all instead of otherwise. The series is cuhhh-razy. Scenes are unbelievable, not to mention kind of impossible. But those are what televisions (and especially movies) made for, right?—to bring the most outrageous and lunatic stories to life. Feeling a love at first sight, (or "at first scenes" in this case) I had an episode marathon that ran from 9pm until 3am the next morning, which is already my birthday. And believe me, it took me a lot of daringness to press that stop button, just when I was getting more and more hooked with the story. (Okay, okay… with the story and with Wentworth Miller!)
And so there goes my special day (no sarcasm incorporated.) It was really special. With all the personal greetings, text messages, and phone calls, absolutely overwhelming. (Thanks to you, all.)

anyway, i recommend it though dunno if we have the same taste, i just recommend it coz i like both the story and the actor.

Prison Break? Nice show. Very nice. Finish season 1, it’s my favorite so far. Season 2 continues the story, but it has a very different tone to it. And 3’s not done yet, so…
And yes, they do break out of prison.

HARVEY, yep, i know na makakalabas sila, kasi nakapanood nako dati, mga 5mins. yung scene is nasa tren ata sila. eh yung mga kasama ko nanood mga lalaki, buti nalang, kasi tamad mag kwento, ang sabi lang nila tungkol sa mga presong tumakas. haha.
o, enough na! baka may spill pa na di ko pa dapat malaman.

JANUS, why, do you find it boring? baka kasi di mo nasimulan. i don’t watch the entire of a series kasi if i didn’t see it’s pilot ep.
perhaps! hehe… I’ll get a dvd for myself, maybe this time I will like it already…
And yeah, I am also one of the millions unemployed! teehee! 
i agree with harvey. season 2 has a different tone compared to the first one (mas histerikal siguro) but still — it manages to grip you until you feel your heart on your throat. napapasigaw nga ko habang nanunuod e. aaaaaaaah. waaah. halaaaaa. basta wag paepalin yung mga makuwento ng detalye habang nanunuod. may lisensya pumatay. haha. yung dvd ko ng season 2, walang subtitles (bilang ako ay highly-dependent sa subtitles hindi ako natuwa) pero magaling naman si scheuring magpagewang ng naratibo. saka saka, gusto ko yung ibang characters sa 2. yung season 3 —PANAMA!
o ayan puwede mo na kong patayin.

at pareho din tayo na napapasigaw. at eto ka, sa sobrang kaba ko, kesa atakihin ako sa puso, i exercise my arms habang nanonood. angat baba ang mga braso ko na parang nagwawarm up sa PE nung highscool para lang di sumabog ang dibdib ko.
shet, season 2, kelangan na kitang mahagkan next week. dapat makabili na! ..bago pa ako spill-an ng mga tao!!! hahaha
janus, you should! pero baka mainis ka, kase medyo mabagal ang season 1 story. pero di naman boring and dragging.
Hahaha. Matagal pa yung writer’s strike, sadly. Lahat ng shows ngayon on “indefinite delay.” Last time me strike na ganto, almost 1 year tinagal, diba?
Ang season 3 naman, dapat di daw igagawa. Pero mataas daw masyado ang ratings, kaya me go-ahead ng mga boss sa Fox Network. Kaya, so far, medyo me pagka bland sakin season 3.
And pare-pareho pala tayo naghahanap ng subtitles. Pero ako kasi sa kakanood ng anime and Japanese TV. Sa sobrang kakanood, di na marunong manood ng TV ng walang subtitles.
Ah, well. Balik sa pagpapanood ng Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. Maski 1 week na akong di nakakatulog dahil sa bwiset na anime na yon.

Posted by chard at February 8, 2008, 7:19 pmchard, hinayupak ka! tumirik ang mata ko bigla nung sinabi mong wag basahin, eh kaso makulit pala yung mata ko, medyo bumaba ulit. at nakita ko ang “makakatakas ba siya ulit?” lintik ka, dito ka pa sa page ko nagtanong niyan? pero pasalamat ka, nakita ko ang commercial ng prison sa c/s kanina, at nakita ko yung ibang scenes na sa loob ulit ng kulungan, so alam ko ng mahuhuli sila after ng season 1.
pero baka matempt pa ulit ako tignan so inedit ko ang post mo ng nakapikit. san ka pa! pasaway ka! boljakin kita jan eh! go to harvey’s page for that question, you little bastard! intiendes? haha, pero salamat na rin sa warning na “ja wag mo basahin ‘to”

I was surfing around and i ended up here.
anw, I know a lot of people who are into this series.. I dont know why.. Aint sure if it’s the story or the actor they were hooked with. LOL. But I haven’t watched a single epsode of it.
