Wiping my chocolate cake off.
February 13, 2008For someone like me who is single and female, Valentine’s Day is just nothing but a slice of a yummy creamy chocolate cake… clouted my face. Ye, it could really seem as horrendous as that, trust me. But fortunately, I always somehow see the bright side of that occasion and never have I felt bitter about it, not even about this coming one. Perhaps because I just simply love love, with or without someone extraordinary to share it with. So, despite the expected slight suffering from the absence of an intimate person beside me on this year’s V-Day, I would still gladly celebrate it—in a way that could seem pathetic to some. Movies. Oh, nothing will surely beat chick flick marathon on Valentine’s! Disagree?! Okay, do you have any better idea? I’m sure you don’t. (Don’t mention bar and club Valentine chorvas. Partying in the metro is non-existent in my life.)
Well, for those who will have a date tomorrow, don’t ruin it, okay? Be sweet and thoughtful to the other person and make it extra special. For those who have none, (ehem!) well, we have nothing to be bitter about, right? It’s just the way it is… for this year! Hah! We just have to make sure we wipe off that cake on our faces before a potential date sees us with a messy face.

I would like the idea of clubbing in the metro chorva, but you’re not into it!
How about, chatting with your old friends in a local coffee shop? Or, reading a novel or Paulo Coelho’s books? His book The Alchemist made me stay at home and smell the freshness of home…
And I’m hoping that it’ll help me stay at home this Vday… But if my friends would invite me to go out partying… Hmmm… Can I bring a book in a club? Hahahaha!
