Describe Disappointment.

March 4, 2008

My mom is sort of a fan of Gaby Dela Merced.  Yep, sort of.  Coz even though she knew a little about the celebrity, she became an instant fan just because of the “good, smart, and tough girl” aura effervescing Gaby.  (You know how your parents instantly judge your friends, right on the very first time they met them, just from the way they look over-all?  You could hear them say “Naka-make up na ang bata bata pa, malandi yun pag laki” or “May tattoo siya? Ano ba yan, para siyang galing ng bilibid!”  That is how my mom became a fan of Gaby—she just liked her right away, over-all!  Then, natuwa na siya all the way!)

Moving on, did you watch the celebrity edition season 2 of Big Brother?  Gaby was in the competition and her chosen charity was I Can Serve Foundation, in which my mother is a member of.  And since Gaby won a place in the PBB final four, she also won a huge amount of money to donate to I Can Serve.  Months after PBB ended, the Foundation organized a thank you lunch party for their celebrity.  Just imagine how excited my mother was when she learned the plan.  Actually, she really wasn’t, it didn’t show on her face or actions.  But hello, being (here I go again) the self-confessed jologs that I am, kanino pa ba ako magmamana, diba?  And IT TAKES ONE TO KNOW ONE!  Haha!  (I’m telling you, I sensed that she won’t go home without a picture of her with her fave celeb)  So, she went to the party (which, by the way, was held two weeks ago) and she said that everything went well.

Well, everything actually… except for one.

…This one!  Her supposedly treasured picture with her fave!

We couldn’t figure out what it is on my Mom’s nose.  Even the person who took this shot, she didn’t really see or notice anything drawn on my Mom’s face that moment.  Hmm… what could it be?  Some entities perhaps.  We may not know at all, ever, but I do know one thing—that this picture, with the special white thingy, certainly is worth of a good loud laugh!  It never fails to make me chuckle, pare!  Ang lupit, sa ilong talaga!  Hindi man lang sa gilid, sa braso, o dun sa table sa likod nila.  Ang kulit din ng tadhana eh noh, hahahahah!

Now, let us describe disappointment.

Nah!

I can’t.

But maybe my mom can!  Haha!

Good times.

Like the new colors and theme of the blog. Very kewl–as in cool blue–hehehe!

I leave on Thursday. Sorry we weren’t able to go to Circles. Maybe when I return next time. I have a present for you and I will leave it with Ate Beng at the condo. Maybe your Papa can pick it up for you.

Rahasia Dahsyat Hidup Sukses dan Uang Melimpah:

A few years ago I was living in the top floor of an apartment building in city on the west coast of the U.S.. I would sleep with the door to the balcony open every night.

One night I awoke with a start at a vibration in the room. The bed began shaking violently, causing me to leap from it nude, in fear and confusion. I felt as if something must have been hiding under the bed, so I kicked at it and demanded it come out and show it self.

Then out of the corner of my eye I saw a small cylinder of metal, not larger than the joint of a finger, and it was resting just inside the open door leading to the balcony. My vision seemed to zoom in on it, and everything else in the room became almost too bright to look at. The cylinder seemed to fill my field of view with out actually growing in size.

I felt the need to call out, but my voice seized in my throat. My blood seem to stop in its veins. My body froze. Paralyzed. I was held by force unseen, and it lifted my body from the hardwood floor and into the air. In my mind I fought with all my might to move and break the invisible vice. I could not break it, and it rotated my body so I was now levitating diagonally.

My thoughts ran together in a mess, nothing was coherent but it was all at once. I felt my sentience being drawn out of me, sucked into the night air out side beyond the balcony. I began to black out, my vision fading, a blackness crawling from the corners of my eyes into every I could see. The hold over my body ceased, and I could feel my self rushing back towards the floor, though my thoughts didn’t match up with my body, the lagged behind with my slowly blackening vision. I remember thinking that if I couldn’t call out I would probably injure my head in the fall and bleed to death before help arrived.

Then I blacked out before I could realize I hit the floor.

I woke up as usual in bed in the morning.
