Belated Super Happy Birthday To Me!

Exactly a month ago, I celebrated my birthday.  (Spent it, really, rather than celebrated.)  I did not receive any gift and neither did I expect to receive something, just because.  But I could count my sweet friends’ mini cake as a gift rather than just a surprise, for their effort to make me feel flattered and loved days after February 6.  So, for my record of “gifts received on birthday in 2008” I can list down “Juju and Melmel’s Surprise Mini Happy Birthday Figaro Cake.”  And then nothing else.
 
But hey hey hey, as of 10pm last night, my list was phenomenally supplemented!  Who would have thought?  After his office, my dad (who works in Makati) dropped by my maternal relatives’ place (in the same area) then arrived home and handed me this:

These are my [cousin slash] Ninang Raquel’s presents for me.  What can I say, she has cool exquisite taste—as always!  I uber love the bag and my mom sure does love it too!  (Okay Ma, you can stop hugging my bag now!  Kindly put it down…  Yes, down, please.  Thank you.)

Anyway, I was just done writing my Ninang a thank you comment on her blog when I picked the bag up and heard something “kumakalansing” inside.  I checked its pocket and to my astonishment, I saw something.

Thank you Ninang, not only for all the “wow” gifts you’ve given me for my past 22 birthdays, but for everything as well that you’ve given to us, your relatives, whenever you just feel like sharing.  (You wanna know my two most favorites gifts from her, ever?  Even if you don’t I’ll still share it.  Hahaha!  First is, the original and the shimmering complete set of Barbie bags (7th bday.) And, the Barbie doll with her own swimming pool and bicycle (8th or 9th bday)  Kasi syempre, sikat ako!  Those were the things my elementary classmates and childhood friends were drooling over for quite a very long time!  Haha!)  Ninang, those are my most faves and the rest are tied as my second faves.  Well, again,
