One at a Time.
August 25, 2008Mga dude, tsong, pare, tol, this is me pleading… Help me in accomplishing these things I’ve been dying to do for the past few months. You already know the reasons why I can’t make any of these things possible, right? …My laziness, my work, my indolence, and my job. (eh? ah basta!)
Sigh. Well, hear me out. I just wanna…
- Save. Big appetite + big bucks + kaladkarin pig out buddies = financial hemorrhage. If you’ll check my savings, you can’t even compare it to a student’s savings from his allowance! But I think I’m improving, for the past two paydays. *poker-face
- Visit a salon. I swear, have never stepped in one since March of this year. I wanna get my hair fixed and my nails really clean (di talaga kasi ko marunong ng mala-manicuristang paglinis, eh!) I can’t even explain why it’s hard to drag my feet nowadays to walk in a place where I know I can get lots of pampering. Weird.
- Bond with my family and relatives again. After so many dine out pig outs, celebrations, road trips, and out of towns that I missed doing with them, I’ve had enough. Well, I think this part of the list is the most possible one, because I have already filed a vacay leave for my cousin’s wedding at the end of this month, in Quezon, Isabela. [Hmm, why don’t we try using the things I missed doing with my family in a sentence… We’ll have dine out pig outs throughout the 8 hour road trip to an out of town place just to be part of one of the sweetest celebrations in my clan this end of August. Yeys! Ain’t I lucky to fit ‘em all? Haha, shallow idea, I know. But boy, can’t wait for that!
- Have that happy redhorse bottle again with my Intellicrapper friends. My officemates from my first ever job are among those I really would love to see regularly and keep in touch with. It’s just very unfeasible because of the schedule we each have. The most recent Conspi get together would have been a blast for me, but then, it was when I got this bronchoconstriction chorva and the doctor advised me not to go to gimikans or other “over-polluted places.”
- Experience that ELBI getaway again. Eko…? May…? Melmel…? Marv…? Juju…? What now? I can’t attend homecoming, you know that. Loser na ako, Fine. And besides, I just want an impulsive lakad. Don’t you just miss that??? Let’s lets, guys! Aight?
- Be in Baguio. Yes, baguio. This is not actually my request. It’s Patrick’s, my poorlittlebestfriend who has never been in that threadbare place all his life. And since I’ve not been to Baguio yet with any of my barkada as the company, we’ll try to make it happen talaga, sooner than the soonest! Eh? Goodluck. Umm, VL form, where are you?
- Get a driver’s license. Can’t bear to cut short people’s subconscious dreams anymore as I wake them at 2 in the morning.
Well, thanks to my Riel for the sundo hatid mode when you have Cdub kahit super out of the way ako. At least walang traffic in the morning, diba, sarap magdrive?
- Open another bank account. Ye, for my “improving” savings status. Whatever.
- Eliminate bulks of carbs from my meal. Again. In 2006, along with three days a week exercise, taking in just little amount of carbs was not a problem. That was when I was still able to go to beach resorts. Needed then to fit in a two-piece, that’s why I was firm in maintaining my healthy living chorvas. Now, I’m starting to feel uncomfy again with my tummy and macho braso. Amfufu.
Number 9, why don’t I just stop at you, for now. Single numbers are better to look at than multi-digit numbers. Besides, inundation was never good to me as far as I know and I don’t think there’s even a slight of change on that. GOODLUCK NA NGA LANG SA AKIN. Friends, umm, help?

Posted by rcones at August 30, 2008, 5:47 amwhy are you trying to lose weight? hmmm….mataba ka ba? ngek! o sige, i’ll take you to a spa when I get there….someday! hehehe
tip on saving…no matter how much you earn (or spend), always put away P100 every payday (kahit P50!). you’ll be surprised how fast it grows…I started saving P1.00 when I graduated from college (that’s all I could afford) and now I have P275! See?!
Pretty soon I can even buy coffee at Starbucks! Say mo?~
FYI: “dalas” is relative.
i’ll see yout tomorrow. yipee!
ninang, i’ll take your advice. 100 everypayday it is! haha. well, at least you have improved on your savings from college, kasi ngayon doctorate na yang studies mo ata, or is it masters? so dapat lang umangat na talaga ang savings mo. teka, bakit pesos? eh 100years ka na sa US, ah? pag kinonvert mo pa yan, mas liliit pa! naku!
Posted by betamax at September 2, 2008, 10:02 pmhay jaja! madami ka nang utang na gimik samin. mishu though…. hehe… magpakita ka na next time ha? ;p
