Thank you

Talent is one thing heaven deprived me of when I was being clumsily devised inside my mom’s womb. Hand me the Magic Sing and I will just sing to a tune or two. (Limited lang ang vocal range ko. Sobra!) My neighbors can attest to it that way back in 90’s, I was murdering Donna Cruz’ Rain and Kapag Tumibok ang Puso on multiplex on a full blast karaoke volume! Walang kahiya hiya! Hahaha! I can only imagine how sorry they were for me. Yikes! You could also ask me to try to draw anything with a pen and paper and I will give you doodles! I remember my teacher and classmates laughing at my project in T.H.E. class on my 2nd year in highschool. Boy, was it embarrassing! We were given an assignment to draw our dream house on a ¼ illustration board and while everyone else was presenting their multi-dimensional houses, I presented this hideous looking stick-figured mala-bahay kubo house with a chimney on it! You can only imagine how loud the class’ laugh was. Teenage years were emo years pa naman! Rawr! Or another thing you can push me to do is to dance. But I can only promise you wriggling shoulders and hips that may not be simultaneously grooving with the beat of the music. Banong bano talaga! So the poor little me had accepted that she could not specify anything she is good at… Until some people made her realize otherwise.
Using one of my boyfriend’s DSLRs, I took this photo of my dad while he was cycling, and posted it on Facebook.
And after that, I received this.
I have been into photography since college but it is only now that I have learnt I am gifted. I know I am not artistic and that I am way far from being an impeccable photographer, but receiving this kind of appreciation from two special good men are more than enough to make me feel proud of myself. Thanks to them!
