Just three weeks ago, I posted this.

And then yesterday, I saw this gift waiting for me in the passenger’s seat of Panget’s car.

I could hardly deny I was in state of high excitement upon recognizing that cloaked in the Fully Booked plastic was the book of my favorite comic strip.  I finally got the book I had wished for! But, Panget’s surprise was just a slice of my happiness.  What certainly the source of my elation was that my guy actually cared to make it available for me without being asked.  Yes, I surely showed how badly I wanted to own C&H on my aforementioned entry, but only because my feet were soaking in the mud of dejectedness when I posted it.  It was after I learned that this hilarious book is still not readily available in shelves of any bookstore in the Philippines.  Little did I know, while I was still examining further on how I could purchase it from abroad, there was my guy, already had it ordered for me on the date of my “wish” entry!

(Hay..  Andami mo nang nagiging surprise sakin, Nget. Why do you seem to never fail?  Maliit man o bonggang moment, you just know exactly how to make me feel special!  All because you care to listen.  Or is it because you just know me too well and we’re always in sync?)

Hmm, I now covet a black Montero Sport! Haha!

Mas panira ka ng umaga!

July 19, 2010

Makikita nyo dito ung sinulat kong reklamo.

Ngayon, may reklamo ulit ako!

Will see you soon!

She’s a sweet smart doll.  She’s my niece and one of my favorite models since I started practicing digital photography.  It saddens me that she left for the States last Friday and would possibly not come back until six years.

I remember my mom asking me if I have pieces of memories of my uncle who left us for heaven when I was 2 years and 9 months old.  And I know I have, only I pull it all out from picture frames and photo albums in our shelves until now.  Lianne is half a year shy from her 3rd birthday.  Thankfully, this little girl already knows how to surf the internet at her age and most likely, through that, we’ll still have a part in her as she grows up away from us, physically.  Hmm, children and internet, it actually leads me to think… are kids now becoming robots?  Haha, but that’s another story.  I just hope this cute lil one hasn’t turned into a robot when we fetch her at the NAIA airport years from now.

See you again soon, Kuya Noel, Ate Iya, Jia, and Lianne! :) Take lots of care! We miss you, guys, already!

Rahasia Dahsyat Hidup Sukses dan Uang Melimpah:

A few years ago I was living in the top floor of an apartment building in city on the west coast of the U.S.. I would sleep with the door to the balcony open every night.

One night I awoke with a start at a vibration in the room. The bed began shaking violently, causing me to leap from it nude, in fear and confusion. I felt as if something must have been hiding under the bed, so I kicked at it and demanded it come out and show it self.

Then out of the corner of my eye I saw a small cylinder of metal, not larger than the joint of a finger, and it was resting just inside the open door leading to the balcony. My vision seemed to zoom in on it, and everything else in the room became almost too bright to look at. The cylinder seemed to fill my field of view with out actually growing in size.

I felt the need to call out, but my voice seized in my throat. My blood seem to stop in its veins. My body froze. Paralyzed. I was held by force unseen, and it lifted my body from the hardwood floor and into the air. In my mind I fought with all my might to move and break the invisible vice. I could not break it, and it rotated my body so I was now levitating diagonally.

My thoughts ran together in a mess, nothing was coherent but it was all at once. I felt my sentience being drawn out of me, sucked into the night air out side beyond the balcony. I began to black out, my vision fading, a blackness crawling from the corners of my eyes into every I could see. The hold over my body ceased, and I could feel my self rushing back towards the floor, though my thoughts didn’t match up with my body, the lagged behind with my slowly blackening vision. I remember thinking that if I couldn’t call out I would probably injure my head in the fall and bleed to death before help arrived.

Then I blacked out before I could realize I hit the floor.

I woke up as usual in bed in the morning.
